About
My PhD thesis was on the philosophy of Richard Rorty, and led to a couple of books on his work. I'm now mostly interested in the application of ethical, political and social theory to issues of various shapes and sizes, including multiculturalism, the environment, the family and disability. I'm just beginning work on a critical survey of contemporary theories of democracy.
